North End Sheep Allotment
Environmental Impact Statement. This project proposes the continuation of a livestock (sheep) grazing permit in the North End Allotment. This allotment is located on the Walla Walla Ranger District of the Umatilla National Forest. It is located northwest of Elgin, OR., in parts of Umatilla, Union and Wallowa Counties (see Vicinity Map under Scoping Documents). Legal Notice of Decision was published in the East Oregonian on 9/9/11. Notice of Availability was published in the Federal Register on 9/9/11.
