Spruce Salvage
Salvage of dead and/or dying trees from approximately 250 acres using conventional yarding systems. All trees over 21 inches diameter at breast height (DBH - defined as 4.5 feet in height) and greater would be retained on site. All units would be whole tree yarded, with activity fuels piled at the landings. Landing piles would either be burned or chipped at a later date. No roads (temporary or permanent) would be constructed.
