Horse Riding and Camping

The Umatilla National Forest maintains hundreds of miles of summer trails each year.   Visitors can hike and ride horseback starting at trailheads located within many of the campgrounds.  Some areas also have facilities such as corals and troughs, specifically to assist riders.

Learn more about how to prevent the spread of invasive and noxious weeds into the backcountry and wilderness areas by meeting weed-free feed requirements for the national forests in the Pacific Northwest.
