Tollbridge Campground
This is a small campground just off Highway 395 along the confluence of Desolation Creek and the North Fork John Day River. Tollbridge features 5 campsties and an accessible toilet. There is also a sign interpreting the geology of the area. There is no potable water or garbage service, so please pack your garbage home. Local attractions include hunting, fishing, swimming, non-motorized boating, and photography.
General Information
The campground is not maintained but is still available throughout the winter. Access will be snowmobiles only once the road is inaccessible due to snow. Please contact the North Fork John Day Ranger District for more information.
Late May
This campground is only maintained seasonally from Memorial Day until mid-November.
Overnight Use:
Single Site: $8 per night
Additional Vehicle Fee: $5 per vehicle per night
- Single site: $8/night (extra $5 fee per vehicle exceeding the two-vehicle-per-site allowance.)
Campground fees will be charged through November 15.

Directions
From Ukiah, OR, travel west 1 mile to the Hwy 395 junction. Turn left (south) on Hwy 395 and go about 15 miles, and then turn left (east) onto Forest Service Road 55. Drive just less than 1 mile, then turn right (south) onto Forest Service Road 10. Travel just across the bridge (about 300 feet) to Tollbridge Campground on the right.
