Whigg Meadow Red Spruce Planting
Red spruce trees would be spot planted by hand in an approximately 1,600 ac area. Planting will occur generally above 4,000 feet elevation and in locations with dead or dying hemlock or north facing slopes. Mechanical release would occur as needed.
