Closed part of El Yunque trail to El Yunque Peak

A section of El Yunque trail remains closed due to damage to a retaining wall that represents a health and safety risk for visitors. Specifically, the closed section begins at the El Yunque Trail junction with Los Picachos, and extends north to the exit point, on Forest Service Road #10 (near El Yunque Peak). The closure order is in effect until a Forest Service official authorizes its reopening.
