Contracting

Monongahela National Forest partners with private companies in order to meet a variety of mission critical needs. These include natural resource services and conservation services, design and construction of structures and facilities, maintenance, repair or alteration of real property, office support services, and procurement of goods.

In addition to obtaining goods and services, the federal procurement process is also used to achieve certain socioeconomic and other policy objectives. Our goal is to provide information and guidance to assist the Small Business community’s participation in USDA Forest Service procurement activities.

The Ohio River Basin (ORB) procurement group handles all contracting needs for the Monongahela National Forest.
