Forest Visitor Map
Forest Visitor maps are forest-specific maps that provide forest-wide information on attractions, facilities, services, and opportunities. They are professionally printed with tear and water-resistant paper. Available for purchase in print and digital.
Interactive Visitor Map
We have released the next-generation Interactive Forest Visitor Map! Map 2.0 provides the public with an online and mobile view of Forest Service roads, trails, recreation sites, wilderness areas, and wild and scenic rivers.

USGS maps available for download in GeoPDF format from TopoView. Anyone involved in monitoring or assessing change over time will find these maps a valuable resource. This effort is a companion to the USGS US Topo Program. Also included is the Forest Service Single Edition Historic Topographic maps produced in cooperation with the USGS from 1994-2007.

Motor Vehicle Use Maps
Motor vehicle use maps display National Forest System roads and trails open to motorized travel by class (or type) of vehicle and, in some cases, season of use. Routes or areas not shown on motor vehicle use maps are closed to public motor vehicle travel.
Geospatial Data
The Forest Service has a broad set of geospatial datasets that capture various geographic features across the landscape. The Monongahela National Forest maintains public access to local datasets as well as guidance for available from various sources across the web.
