Kakabika Falls

Kakabika Falls, located approximately 12 miles northeast of Marenisco Mi., on the Bessemer Ranger District. This falls is actually a series of “S” turns as the river drops in elevation. The trail is not long but it can be uneven and steep at times.

Directions

From Watersmeet, Mi., travel west on US 2 approximately 15 miles to CR 527, turn right onto CR 527 and travel approximately ¾ mile to the small parking area for the Falls.

From Marenisco, Mi., travel east on US 2 approximately 12 ½ miles to CR 527, turn left onto CR 527 and travel approximately ¾ mile to the small parking area for the Falls.

Closest Town: Watersmeet, Mi., is 15 miles to the east.
