Yellow Dog Falls

Located in the northeast part of the McCormick Wilderness, these falls are located on the Yellow Dog River, one of only a handful Eastern rivers to be named "wild". This trail is seldom used, and it is very likely you will see no other hikers. The trailhead is located off Ford Rd. and the trail is 2.38 miles to the falls. The trail is not marked as it is located in wilderness. As such, some trail finding may be required. Do not confuse these falls with the Yellow Dog Falls located off road 510 closer to Marquette.
