Cook County Land Exchange
A land exchange is proposed with Cook County, Minnesota. With this exchange, the United States would acquire 1910.76 acres of non-federal land within the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) in exchange for up to approximately 1620 acres of federal land. A final decision was signed selecting Alternative 2 with modifications on April 28, 2015.
