2018 Gypsy Moth Slow the Spread Project

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture, in cooperation with the Superior National Forest and Forest Service-State and Private Forestry, proposes treatment to slow the spread of the invasive insect, gypsy moth. This project includes a block of about 11,784 acres of national forest land on the Laurentian district. All treatment on national forest lands would be with disparlure, a mating disrupter. The Minnesota Department of Agriculture led public involvement on the project. For more information see http://www.mda.state.mn.us/gmtreatments
