Clear Lake

Clear Lake is a small, 138-acre lake with a carry-down access off the county road. It is suitable for canoes and small boats. The lake contains crappies, northern pike and bass. Nearby lakes include: Dark Lake, Knuckey Lake, and Camp Four Lake.

No Fees are required for this site.

Boating

When boating with your dog, follow all Minnesota State boating laws.

  • Use care when getting your dog in and out of the boat to ensure their safety.
  • Consider both you and your dog wearing a life jacket.
  • Provide shade for your pet.
  • Remember to bring their food and water as it may be unsafe for them to drink lake water.

Directions

Clear Lake is located 10 miles north of Buhl, MN.

  • Take Highway 25 north of Buhl for 10 1/2 miles.
  • Turn right on County Road 461 for 1/4 mile. Clear Lake is on your right.

Parking

Park alongside Country Road 461. Pull off as far as possible to avoid obstructing traffic.
