Timber-Frear Canoe Route
The Timber-Frear Canoe Route (named for Timber and Frear Lakes) links seven lakes with seven portages for a memorable canoe route and camping experience.
Camping
There are 11 backcountry campsites accessible by canoe and one rustic campground accessible by car on the route on Timber, Frear, Lost, and Elbow Lake. There are an additional 4 rustic campgrounds nearby - Toohey, Fourmile, Wilson, and Windy Lakes.

Whitefish Lake Rustic Campground and the Timber-Frear Area includes a 3 site rustic campground and 11 backcountry campsites scattered on 5 lakes.
Toohey Lake Rustic Campground is a seven site campground with a boat launch and trailer parking.
Fourmile Lake Rustic Campground offers four sites accessible by car. On the shore of the lake are an additional two backcountry campsites accessible by boat.
Wilson Lake Rustic Campground is on the shore of the lake and has a drive down boat ramp with a dock.
