97-11-04 Pack Animals on Recreational Trails Prohibition

The use or possession of any pack, saddle, or draft animals on all National Forest recreation trails on the Seward Ranger District from April 1 through June 30 is prohibited. The purpose of this restriction is to protect the surface of the trails while the snow and land thaws during the spring months.
