This book is published by the Federal Subsistence Management Program as an informative summary and guide to annual Federal subsistence hunting regulations contained in the Code of Federal Regulations (36 CFR Part 242 and 50 CFR Part 100) and the Federal Register.

The regulations may change at any time by special actions of the Federal Subsistence Board. Changes are published in the Federal Register and Board actions or major corrections to this book are posted on the Office of Subsistence Management website.
