Additional Office Information

The Cordova Ranger District is nestled between the Copper River Delta and the southeastern end of Prince William Sound and covers approximately 2.3 million acres.

Historically, this building served as a U.S. Post Office and courthouse for the town of Cordova over a hundred years ago. When a new post office facility and a new courthouse was constructed in the 1990s, the U.S. Forest Service expanded its operations throughout the building. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, the building is currently owned by the U.S. Forest Service and serves as the Cordova Ranger District’s administrative office.
