Victor Creek Trail - INHT
The Victor Creek Trail is a 2.25 hiking segment of the longer Iditarod National Historic Trail (INHT).
The first mile of trail climbs steeply through dense spruce/hemlock forest before breaking out into a narrow valley of meadows and brush with views of nearby mountains. Trail ends abruptly after 2.5 miles, there is no bridge over Victor Creek.
Winter travelers may experience ice formations from the dripping creeks and waterfalls. Use caution. Dall sheep and mountain goats may be seen along the slopes, as well as other wildlife and birds.
