Artist Point Trailhead Open NOTE:  The final 1.8 mile stretch of the Mt. Baker Highway (SR 542) to Artist Point is open to vehicles.  Oversized vehicles and recreational vehicles are advised to park at the Terminal Lake Parking lot as there is insufficient room to make the turn at milepost 55.6 due to the recent repairs.  Check the Washington Department of Transportation website for updates.  There are no toilets or trash receptacles at this time. Please use the restrooms at the Heather Meadows Visitor Center and pack out your trash.
