Alerts

Conditions can change rapidly on the Forest, especially at higher elevations and within backcountry areas.  Forest roads are prone to flooding and washouts. Never attempt to cross a road washout as you could easily get trapped. Travel with your lights on, obey speed limits, and watch for pedestrians and other vehicles.

Be sure to review the Forest Service's Know Before You Go tips to learn how to stay safe, brave the elements and respect wildlife.
