Projects
Projects are proposed actions that are analyzed through the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process (Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), Categorical Exclusion (CE), Environmental Assessment (EA)) that involves analyzing different alternatives to the proposed action, requires public notice and comment, and results in a NEPA decision (Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI), Notice of Intent (NOI), Record of Decision (ROD)) which, subject to an administrative appeals process, and is implemented on the ground.
