Lower Eagle's Nest is a free day use picnic area in Thompson Park. To get there, drive 10 miles south of Butte on MT Hwy 2, 1 mile east of the junction of Continental Drive and MT Hwy 2. Turn right at the first right and stay to the left for approximately 1.5 miles.
