Passes
Recreation passes are NOT required at our sites with the exception of the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. The Center will accept them in lieu of the day-use fee.
Every Kid Outdoors 4th Grade Pass

Free for fourth grade students for the duration of the school year and following summer.
Annual Pass

An $80 Annual Pass that provides access to more than 2,000 recreation areas managed by five Federal agencies, with proceeds used to enhance visitor recreation services.
Senior Annual or Lifetime Pass

The $80 lifetime or $20 annual Senior Passes provide admittance to more than 2,000 recreation sites.
Access Pass

A free lifetime pass - available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents that have been medically determined to have a permanent disability.
Military Pass

A free annual pass - available to current US Military, Veterans, Dependents and Gold Star families.
Volunteer Pass

A free annual pass - available to U.S. citizens or permanent residents who individually accrue 250 volunteer hours. The pass is available through agency volunteer program coordinators.
Notes of interest
- A private vehicle is defined as any noncommercial vehicle that is being used for private recreation.
- The Annual pass does not include overnight camping, developed boat launches and swimming sites, specialized interpretive services or concessionaires services. However, concessionaires may honor the Senior/Access Passes if included in the terms of their current permit.
- At sites charging per person fees, the 50% discount will be given to the pass owner only. Examples include cave tours or elevator services.
- The Annual, Senior, and Access Passes may not be valid for facility or equipment rental fees; cabins; lookouts; day/overnight group sites; special conservation programs; managed off-highway vehicle areas; optional transportation systems; reservation services; specialized equipment such as hookups for water, electricity, cable, sewer or sanitary dump stations; or permits of any kind.
