Judith Guard Station Cabin
This cabin is a historic ranger station dating from the very early 1900s. The two story frame building is a national historic Site located within a stone's throw of the Middle Fork of the Judith River and a small campground. Located about 30 miles south of Stanford, the cabin has propane heating and cookstove, and accommodates eight people. Water is available from a hand pump during the summer months only, so make sure to bring water in the winter. There is no electricity or garbage service so make sure to be prepared to bring garbage bags. Please make sure to bring bedding, food, and an ice chest.
This cabin is not handicap accessible.
No pets or livestock are permitted in the facility.
The facility is accessible in a highway vehicle except when the roads are snow covered.
Bears may frequent the area; keep all food out of sight in approved containers and remove all food from area after eating. Mandatory food storage is required.

Directions
From Great Falls, travel east on US Highway 87 about 63 miles to Windham, MT. From Windham, turn off Montana Highway 200/US 87 heading south for about ten miles to Utica, MT. At the Oxen Yoke Inn, turn south onto the gravel county road. Continue south for 13 miles, turn right at the "Y" junction. Continue southwest for about one mile, at the second "Y" junction, stay to the left and continue on for about one mile, which leads you to the Judith Guard Station Cabin.
