Liz Creek Cabin
The Liz Creek Cabin was constructed in 1929 at the confluence of Liz Creek and Weitas Creek as an early Forest Service backcountry guard station. This rustic single-room cabin sits peacefully in a grassy meadow surrounded by the grandeur of the Clearwater Mountains, and can only be reached by trail. The cabin is steeped in history and recently became eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. The cabin is void of electricity, sleeps four, and is equipped with a woodstove, outdoor table, fire ring, porch, and outhouse.
