Battle Townsite Overlook
The Battle Townsite Overlook is an ideal rest stop at Battle Pass on Wyoming Highway 70. The site is located on the Continental Divide and affords excellent views of the Sierra Madre Mountains. Although little remains of the Battle Townsite, interpretive information provides a snapshot of the once bustling town during the historical mining era. Battle Townsite is managed by the Brush Creek/Hayden Ranger District.
