Scenic Drives

There are countless scenic drives on the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests and Thunder Basin National Grassland. Hundreds of miles of dirt and paved roads wind through thickly forested areas that change with every season, around exposed rock faces revealing millions of years of history, and across open spaces that reveal the vast open spaces that characterize the American West. Ranger districts have the most up to date information regarding road conditions and status.

Scenic Driving

From paved Scenic Byways to rough, dirt roads, whatever driving experience to view scenery you desire on the Forests and Grassland, it exists.
