Transfer Trailhead

This seasonal trail is generally not melted until late June/early July due to snow levels at this elevation. This trailhead serves as the main access point for the Transfer Trail No. 1172. This short 1.8 mile trail gives alternative access to the trails served out of the East Fork Trailhead and the Flat Tops Wilderness. There are multiple dispersed camping sites in the area.

Please note: The road to the trailhead is deeply rutted and can be extremely muddy. Higher clearance vehicles are recommended.
