Upper Silver Creek Trailhead
This Trailhead serves as the upper access point for the Silver Creek Trail No. 1106. This 12.3 mile trail in the Sarvis Creek Wilderness descends the Silver Creek drainage from its headwaters at Buffalo Park down to the Morrison Creek valley. The trail begins on an old logging road before passing through areas burned in the Silver Creek Fire of 2018 and continuing downstream. After 8.7 miles, the trail crosses Silver Creek. There is no bridge at the Silver Creek crossing. High spring runoff can create dangerous conditions. This trail ends at the Lower Silver Creek Trailhead off of Lynx Pass (CR 16).
There is no camping allowed withing 100ft of the water or trail.
The lower 500 feet of trail passes through private land. Please respect the property owner and stay on trail.
This area was hit hard by the Mountain Pine Beetle epidemic. Falling trees can pose a great safety risk to campers and hikers.
