This trail connects with Venable Trail #1347 and Rainbow Trail #1336 and is a short distance from the Alvarado Campground.
The Sangre de Cristo Wilderness was established in 1993 to preserve its quality, character and integrity. This area is intended to be a place with minimal human impact where natural processes are the primary influences. Human activity is limited to primitive recreation and travel.
