Vail Summer Construction 2016 CE
On December 16th, 2015, the Eagle-Holy Cross Ranger District of the Whiter River National Forest received a proposal from Vail Resorts to identify major projects Vail Ski Resort would like to accomplish during the 2016 summer construction season that they believe qualify for review under NEPA through a Categorical Exclusion. The six projects Vail Resorts identified in the proposal are: The Sun Up Lift (17) Replacement, Chair 3 & 4 East Maze Re-grade and Corbel Installation, Removable Multi-Use Deck in front of the 10th, Adventure Ridge Storage Building, Adventure Ridge Kid?s Summer Tubing Lanes and the Eagle Nest Deck Upgrade, Facilities and Landscaping Plan. All six of this proposals will be analyzed under NEPA, although portions of the Eagles Nest Deck Upgrade, Facilities and Landscaping Plan will potentially accepted within the 2016 Vail/Beaver Summer Construction Plan as maintenance.
