Ranger Trail #41
Ranger Trail #41 is a 16 mile trail located within the Kanab Creek Wilderness.
Towering perpendicular cliffs hug the trail on the east, while the broad expanse of Kanab Creek and its tributaries spread out to the west.
This trail is in a remote area with limited water, high summer temperatures and extremely rugged terrain.

East: Jumpup Cabin on Forest Road 423
West: at trail junction with Snake Gulch-Kanab Creek Trail #59 and Horse Springs Trail 127 near Hatch Cabin in Kanab Creek Wilderness
Directions
From Fredonia (approximately 42.6 miles):
- Depart Fredonia travelling south on US Highway 89A for approximately 1.6 miles,
- Turn right onto Forest Road 22 and follow for approximately 22.9 miles,
- Turn right onto Forest Road 423 and follow for approximately 5 miles,
- Continue straight onto Forest Road 427 and follow for approximately 2.2 miles,
- Turn right onto Forest Road 236 and follow for approximately 7.3 miles,
- Turn left onto Forest Road 423 and follow approximately 3.7 to trailhead at Jumpup Cabin.

From Jacob Lake (approximately 31.3 miles):
- Head south on US Highway 67 for approximately 0.3 miles,
- Turn right onto Forest Road 461 and follow for approximately 8.6 miles,
- Turn left onto Forest Road 22 and follow for approximately 8.8 miles,
- Turn right onto Forest Road 447 and follow for approximately 3.9 miles,
- Turn right onto Forest Road 427 and follow for approximately 0.2 miles,
- Turn left onto Forest Road 234 and follow for approximately 8.5 miles,
- Turn left onto Forest Road 423 and follow approximately 1 mile to trailhead at Jumpup Cabin.
