Pine Creek Campground

Pine Creek Campground is nestled along the banks of Pine Creek, about nine miles west of Victor, Idaho. Situated within the Caribou-Targhee National Forest’s Teton Basin Ranger District, this campground rests at an elevation of 6,700 feet, accessible via Idaho Highway 31 over Pine Creek Pass.

Natural Features: Towering pines and aspens frame the campground, their branches whispering above the clear waters of Pine Creek as it tumbles through the canyon. Wildflowers bloom in summer, dotting the forested slopes with bursts of color against the backdrop of the Big Hole Mountains.

The Pine Creek Trail starts nearby, luring hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders into the rugged wilderness. Anglers can cast for brook trout in the creek, while the proximity to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks—within an hour’s drive—offers a gateway to iconic landscapes and wildlife.

Facilities: The campground offers 10 single-family sites, each equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings. Vault toilets, no water or trash so plan accordingly, with a campground host located at Trail Creek Campground. Roads and parking spurs are gravel, accommodating RVs and trailers up to 40 feet.
