Pole Bridge
Pole Bridge is an undeveloped campground with scattered tables and fire rings. Warm River goes through the campground but is a small creek at this site.
General Information
Upper and Lower Mesa Falls are 9 and 10 miles from the campground.
Harriman State Park, a wildlife refuge featuring Blue Ribbon trout fishing (fly fishing, catch and release), trumpter swans, elk, moose, and various waterfowl is located on Highway 20. From Pole Bridge Campground drive north on Rd 150 2 miles and turn left onto the North Hatchery Butte Road (FS Road 315), when you get to the Mesa Falls Scenic ByWay turn right until you hit Highway 20 and then turn left. Harriman State Park is 1 mile south.
An abandoned railroad bed is utilized as a hiking/riding trail from Bear Gulch to West Yellowstone, MT. There are access/exit points along the way. Parts of the railroad trail are closed to motorized vehicles.

Directions
From Ashton, ID, head east on ID-47 for 15.8 miles (approximately 1 miles past the Upper Mesa Falls turn). Turn right onto the Warm River Rd (Forest Road 150). The road comes to a junction in about 3 miles and you will want to continue left for another 5 miles. Turn right into the campground. If you come to Forest Road 153 you went too far.
