Anderson Meadow Rec Site
Overview
Anderson Meadow Rec Site is a day use facility associated with Anderson Meadow Reservoir. A mid-size gravel parking area is available and can be found located off of FR-137 on the south side of the road, just before reaching the Anderson Meadow Campground. This recreation area is a good destination for fishing, picnicking or stretching your legs during a short hike around the perimeter of the reservoir.
Facilities
There is 1 vault toilet available in the parking lot. No water. Camping and overnight parking are not allowed in this day use area.
General Information
Anderson Meadow Reservoir is a small 8 acre lake at an elevation of 9,355 feet. The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources maintains the reservoir for fish habitat, so the water level is stable year-round. It has a maximum depth of 21 feet and an average depth of 8 feet. The reservoir is stocked with rainbow trout and supports a large population of wild brook trout. Fishing from a boat with a motor is not allowed at Anderson Meadow. Hand launching float tubes, kayaks and canoes is possible.

- Pets must be leashed at all times within this recreation area. This policy is in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors and to protect wildlife.
- Clean up dog waste and dispose of it properly.
- Keep dogs from chasing, harassing, and disturbing wildlife, livestock or other visitors.
- When on a trail, yield to other hikers, horses, and other trail users by stepping off the trail and keeping control of your dog.

The Anderson Meadow Rec Site is approximately 18.3 miles east of Beaver, Utah. From Beaver travel 10 miles east on Hwy-153, turn right onto Kents Lake Road (FR-137) and travel another 8.3 miles. To reach this site from Junction, Utah travel 9 miles west on Hwy-153, turn left on FR-137 and travel another 7 miles.
