Water Activities
Enjoy the many lakes and reservoirs found throughout the forests, such as Kents Lake, Forsyth Reservoir, and Big Lake. Only a few lakes on the forest are large enough to allow motorized boating. Be sure to check regulations with your local district office and visit Utah Department of Recreation for more information.
*Please note, all watercraft users in Utah, including paddleboards and kayaks, must complete an annual Mussel-Aware Boater Course and have proof of completion readily available

Only a few lakes on the forest are large enough to allow motorized boating. The larger lakes on the forest that allow boats with motors include:

Trolling is a favorite method anglers use on these lakes. For more information on motorized boating and fishing in Utah, please visit the Utah Division of Outdoor Recreation.
