Bootleg Campground

Bootleg Campground, located just off U.S. Highway 395 south of Walker, California, offers solitude and chance to get away from crowds in shaded Jeffrey pines. The West Walker River is located on the opposite side of US-395, providing ample fishing opportunities to campers at this site. 

General Information

  • The campground contains single and double-family sites equipped with picnic tables, food storage lockers, and campfire rings with grills. Flush toilets, drinking water and trash collection are provided.
  • Firewood is available for purchase from the host.

Late May - mid-September, as weather and conditions allow.

Open 24 hours/day

  • Dog must be on a leash at campground.  

$22/site, $6 extra vehicle
