Trail Canyon Trailhead

The Trail Canyon Trailhead is a popular site for users looking to hike the Trail Canyon Trail and/or access the Mt. Charleston Wilderness. This site is located in the upper portion of Kyle Canyon on the Spring Mountains NRA near Las Vegas, Nevada.

General Information

  • The Trail Canyon Trail connects at its terminus with the North Loop Trail, allowing access to Charleston Peak within the Mt. Charleston Wilderness.

April - December, depending on weather and conditions.

Day-use only, as posted.

Dogs must be on a leash at trailhead.

No Fees are required for this site.

Front of the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area office that is cream with a tan tile roof.

Directions

From Las Vegas, Nevada: Travel north on US-95 to junction with NV-157. Turn left and go approximately 20 miles on NV-157, then right onto Echo Road for 0.7 miles to trailhead.
