Silver Lake Flat Trailhead/Reservoir- Pleasant Grove Ranger District

Silver Lake Flat Reservoir and Trailhead is nestled in the mountains of American Fork Canyon adjacent to the Lone Peak Wilderness.

Current Conditions
Rough Road, 2 WD not recommended.
River crossing to the dispersed camping area is now open.

General Information

No fires within 1/4 mile of the reservoir. 
No trailers allowed on the road to Silver Lake Flat. 
No public access to the spillway. 

Day Use: $10/vehicle/three day; $20/vehicle/seven day; $60/Vehicle/Season.

We honor all Interagency "America the Beautiful" National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Passes, and Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Passes. 
Please have your pass on display in your vehicle while parked. 

Dogs must be leashed in developed sites.

Getting There

Directions

From Cedar Hill, take UT-92 E/Alpine Loop Road 5 miles. Turn left onto UT-144N and go another 2.5 mile. Just past Tibble Fork Reservoir turn left onto W Granite Flat Campground Road. In 0.7 miles turn right on FR 008/Silver Lake Flat Road. The reservoir will be 2.5 miles up the road.

Travel Considerations

4x4 recommended. 

Parking

Parking is allowed in designated areas only. Do not park in the signed no-parking zones. 
Emergency vehicles must always be able to respond to an emergency, do not block gates, or obstruct the flow of traffic.
