Spruces Campground
This is the most modern campground on the Salt Lake Ranger District. All roads, parking areas and parking sites are paved and all walkways are concrete or paved. There are no electric or water hookups.
General Information
Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, located in Salt Lake County are Salt Lake City Watersheds and domestic animals (Dogs, Cats, Horses, Mules etc.) are prohibited within these areas even if they are enclosed in a vehicle. Swimming or bathing in any stream or body of water and camping within 200 feet of any stream or body of water is also prohibited.
This campground is open seasonally and operated by a Concessionaire. Restrooms are available during the open season. This campground typically has water available. For the most current conditions about this campground and amenities available please refer to recreation.gov.
This campground is located Big Cottonwood Canyon, which is in the Salt Lake City Watershed. Special regulations apply and are strictly enforced. No pets allowed. This area is closed to swimming/wading.
