White Pine Trailhead

White Pine Trailhead is a popular trailhead located 5.3 miles up Little Cottonwood Canyon.
Visitors can access White Pine Lake, Upper and Lower Red Pine Lakes, Lone Peak Wilderness,
and Maybird Gulch. The trailhead offers two vault toilets. The area is surrounded by aspen and
stunning views of the surrounding granite peaks.

General Information

Little Cottonwood Canyon is in the Salt Lake City Watershed. Special regulations apply and are strictly enforced. 

 No dogs or domestic animals
 No swimming, wading, playing in water (protected watershed)
 No motorized use on trails
 No campfires in Red Pine and Maybird drainages
This may not be inclusive for all rules and regulations for this site. Adhere to any posted
regulations on site.

Day Use:
$10 per vehicle per three day
$20 per vehicle per seven day
$60 per vehicle per season

Directions

Head east on 9400 south. Will automatically turn into Little Cottonwood Road. The trailhead is located 5.4 miles up the canyon on the right.
