Mobile Relay Associates - Mt Lukens - Expansion of existing Communication Site Facility
The proposal is to build a new, 100ft tall, self supporting lattice tower adjacent to the building. A previously approved 800sq ft expansion to the existing building will occur (as recorded in the Communications Site Managemen Plan dated 11/20/08). The use is consistent with the Angeles National Forest LMP, which designated all existing communication sites for continued use, including new towers and equipment where appropriate. The proposal is also consistent with Appendix G of Part 3 of the LMP, which provides guidelines for protection of wildlife at communications sites.
