Plan for Invasive Plants; Angeles National Forest
The Forest Supervisor has signed a Decision Notice to implement the proposed action. This includes the eradication, control, containment, and/or suppression of existing and new infestations of invasive plant species, using chemical herbicide and manual treatment methods. Treatment will occur on up to 3000 acres annually. Designated Wilderness and Research Natural Areas are excluded. The Decision Notice is available below. A pre-decision objection period was held, no objections were received. Implementation of the project is currently underway.

The project is in the San Gabriel Mountains and the northern section of the Sierra Pelona Mountains. Areas with existing NEPA decisions such as the Santa Clara River Watershed are excluded.
