Bridge Flat River Access

A pullout and short trail to a large pool under a bridge over the Scott River. This is a put-in for a Class V section of the Scott River during spring run-off and a favorite swimming hole during the summer months.

General Information

A current California Campfire Permit is required to use a camp stove, barbecue or have a campfire. Local fire restrictions supersede the campfire permit. Inquire at the Ranger Station before having a fire.

No fee

The Salmon and Scott Rivers are designated Wild and Scenic Rivers. There are numerous rapids, cascades and waterfalls along these rivers. The difficulty of the rapids changes with the seasons, the water levels and flow rates. Boaters and rafters should research the river thoroughly before attempting to navigate on their own.
