Fish Lake Trailhead
The trailhead is up Forest Road 39N05 off of Forest Road 39N08 west of Carter Meadows Summit.
Trail# 5522 follows Fish Lake Creek in to the Trinity Alps Wilderness to Fish Lake, then continues up and meeting Trails #9W16, 5501, and 9W04 in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.
General Information
Check the current fire restrictions and obtain a Calfornia Campfire Permit. Wilderness permits are required in the Trinity Alps Wilderness. Permits can be obtained by visiting Forest Service offices on both the Klamath National Forest and the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.
