A remote trailhead up Forest Road 39N32 above the Hotelling Campground and Forks of Salmon.
The trailhead is the beginning of Trail #5465 which connects with the Salmon Summit National Recreation Trail (#12W02) and provides access to the Trinity Alps Wilderness.
General Information
Check the current fire restrictions and obtain a Calfornia Campfire Permit. Wilderness permits are required in the Trinity Alps Wilderness. Permits can be obtained by visiting Forest Service offices on both the Klamath National Forest and the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.
