Rust Resistant Sugar Pine Pheromone Treatment
In response to a region-wide outbreak of mountain pine beetle, the Mendocino National Forest is proposing to apply the pesticide SPLAT Verb, a behavior disrupting pheromone called verbenone to sixteen rust resistant sugar pine trees.
