Atchison Campground

Inaccessible access via the 22N11 Rd from Mendo Pass due to road failure. To access the camp, you need to travel further east on FH7 towards Snow Basin and turn onto 22N11 coming up to the camp from the South along Plaskett Ridge. That section of road is high clearance vehicles only due to a slump about a mile south of the campground. Bathrooms are closed. No trash pickup services, please pack out your trash. Avoid parking or pitching tents under dead standing trees. Use extreme caution in high winds. Downed trees, dropped limbs, stump holes and unstable terrain may be present. Campground is not maintained in winter.
