Bathhouse Trailhead

Trailhead is located less than a mile from Fouts Springs OHV area and connects to Deafy Glade trail, Dixie Glade Equestrian Campground, Summit Springs trail, and the rest of Snow Mountain Wilderness. Bathhouse trail follows the southeastern boundary of the Snow Mountain Wilderness. 

Current Conditions
Road access to this trailhead in winter is limited and may be impassable due to snow, downed trees, slides, or rockfall. From the east on M10: M10 Road undergoing construction and not advisable during winter. When construction resumes, there may be delays and traffic controls. From the west: Rice Fork crossing is impassable in winter; it typically requires high-clearance 4WD vehicle. Approximately 2 miles of trail have been maintained from the eastern trailhead. This area burned in 2020 and has dense brush, erosion, downed trees, dropped limbs, stump holes and unstable terrain present. Avoid camping and standing under dead standing trees.
