Camping & Cabins

Camping on the Modoc is the very definition of "getting away from it all". Even on holiday weekends campers can usually find a campsite as late as Saturday morning.  On other weekends, few of our campgrounds fill up.

Or maybe you just want to find that nice spot in the forest, walk in a ways and set up camp. Information on dispersed camping is what you are looking for.

Please check the appropriate campground for information concerning the size limit of RV or Camp Trailer for that site.

There is one cabin on the Modoc National Forest available for overnight rentals during the summer. Check out Patterson Guard Station for more information.
